Competition time – A little meat ‘On the Side’

Our friend and colleague Ed Smith wrote a cookbook! It’s called On the Side: a sourcebook of inspiring side dishes and it does exactly what it says on the tin — there are 140 inspiring side dish recipes (all photographed) and insightful tips to make your pulses, roots, vegetables and greens dazzle in their own right. We particularly like the recipe directory at the back that’ll help you find the perfect accompaniment to whatever your eating in the middle, including cured meats and cold cuts. It’s an essential addition to every kitchen.

To celebrate, we and Ed’s publisher, Bloomsbury, have teamed up and are running a mighty tempting competition.
